Twice he made attempts to savour marital bliss and twice the ambition evaporated like steam. That was the love story of Lagos socialite and one of the up and coming dudes in the oil sector, Chima Anyaso, until he recently walked down the aisle with his new heartthrob, Adanna Nzeribe.
Tall, driven and rich, Chima has a gentle disposition that can disarm the most treacherous of women. But nothing had tasted as bitter on Chima’s tongue as his earlier marital adventures. The last with Onyeka Odiegwu had all the trappings of alleged violence. The relationship eventually gave way and left both parties trading accusations. Anyaso had to take his time to comb through the length and breadth of Nigeria to find his new wife.
In a carnival-like two-part matrimonial ritual that took place in Nigeria and the UK, Chima announced his unflinching love for Adanna in August 2013 before other men of means and clout. He has been savouring every moment with his wife in what close friends of his call a marital bliss.
